AV08 Double Low Boy Dresser

Recommended prices from 23,315 - 26,956 DKK

The Double Low Boy dresser is part of a classic furniture series designed in 1959. The series, which also includes dressers and sideboards, is created with a timeless aesthetic and a sharp focus on craftsmanship and detail.

The design expresses minimalist elegance with clean lines, often combined with natural woods that highlight the structure and color of the wood.

The Double Low Boy dresser is characterized by its low profile and spacious drawers, making it ideal for both storage and as a discreet yet stylish (yet playful) addition to your home decor.

The dresser is now put into reproduction by Snedkergaarden, giving you the opportunity to experience the master craftsmanship and classic Scandinavian design tradition that the piece represents.

With its reproduction of the Double Low Boy, Snedkergaarden has maintained the original's focus on quality and authenticity by taking the pace out of production, hand-sorting the wood and taking care as in the 1950s.

Prices depend on the choice of wood species and surface treatment.

Arne Vodder

Arne Vodder (1926 - 2009) is a Danish architect and designer who is considered one of the most influential Scandinavian furniture designers.

Arne Vodder created timeless and functional furniture with a distinctive attention to detail, color and materials. His quiet demeanor and humility contributed to him not achieving the same fame in his lifetime as his mentor and friend Finn Juhl. In recent years, both the Danish and international furniture scene have taken notice of his designs, which are characterized by a unique blend of simplicity and elegance. Vodder trained as a carpenter and architect, working particularly with organic forms and exclusive woods such as rosewood and teak.
