At Snedkergaarden, we believe that every stage of a piece of furniture’s lifecycle matters – from the first sketched design to its place in your home and beyond. We want to create furniture that not only delivers beauty and functionality, but also longevity with as little environmental impact as possible for us.

Most importantly, our designers’ designs are timeless and created with a focus on lasting for generations. The designers have put thought into the design and have durability in mind – both in construction and aesthetics. At Snedkergaarden, we know that the designs we produce avoid short-lived trends and instead emphasize classic shapes and materials that can be integrated into different styles over time. This means that our furniture can survive several generations of users.

Our furniture is designed to withstand daily use and wear and tear. Our retailers offer guidance on how to best maintain your furniture to keep it beautiful for many years. If you know your furniture is particularly vulnerable, we offer our own specially designed varnish (SC varnish) that can withstand ANYTHING.

We also encourage our customers to think long-term. Instead of discarding, you can repair or restore to give your furniture new life if it becomes damaged.
