"Three steps forward and two steps back - and you're still one step forward" Nanna Ditzel
Nanna Ditzel designed the beautiful coat stand in 1963 and it is an original example of Nanna Ditzel's design language, where functionality and aesthetics merge into a harmonious whole. It is clear to see that Nanna Ditzel has both a carpentry and arts and crafts education. The wood for each coat stand is hand-sorted, so the cabinetmaker ensures that the structure and color of each arm matches the others. The pieces are carefully turned and hand-assembled by a cabinetmaker, ensuring that even the smallest details are made with precision and care.
It's crafted from hand-sorted wood in oak, ash, walnut and smoked oak varieties, allowing you to decide whether you want the beautiful silhouette of the mute to glow light and simple or dark and warm
Ditzel's design language is known for challenging traditional furniture constructions, and this coat stand is no exception. It is not only a functional piece of furniture, but also a small piece of art that you can hang your hat and jacket on every day.
The price depends on the choice of wood and surface treatment.
